The 34th INF Congress was a great success! This was the 60th
anniversary of the first INF Congress which was held in Vienna in 1954.
The Irish were generous and gracious hosts to the 25 countries
represented. They even arranged for unseasonably warm and sunny weather.
The people of Ireland showed a great deal of interest. Most major Irish
media outlets covered the event. We were also honoured to be joined by
several government officials.
The minutes of the Congress will soon be sent out by email and posted in the download area. But in the meantime, here are a few of the highlights:
The new INF Working Plan is being implemented. If we can deliver on all
of the action items identified, it will herald an unprecedented level of
cooperation among the international naturist community. But as we
discussed during the congress, the INF does not have the resources to
implement the Working Plan alone. We need all federation to provide
volunteers to serve in the working groups. You can review the Working
Plan in the download area. Please contact the INF office if you are interested in serving on one of the Working Groups.
Nick Caunt, the BN delegate, suggested that web-based forums would be a
good solution to improving communications between the INF and its member
federations. BN has found this method to be quite effective in their
federation. Given that it can be done at minimal cost, there was
consensus that we should try it. The new forums have now been setup. The
official contact at each federation will soon receive information about
how to login. Initially, only one login will be created. However,
federations can request that additional people be added.
The forum is located at: http://forum.inf-fni.org/
Two new members of the INF Central Committee were elected. Jean Peters
(FLN) is now Vice President and Garmt Kolhorn (NFN) is now Assessor for
We thank Bernd Huijser whose tenure was brief but whose commitment and
persistence is responsible for the Working Plan that is going to drive
the direction of the INF. We also owe a debt to Mick Ayers whose decades
of tireless dedication to the INF resulted in so many successes that it
is impossible to list them all here.
The motion by the Swiss Naturist Union to password-protect some of the
download area was passed. As a result, you will soon receive
instructions on how to access the password-protected download area.

Dear friends, members of INF-FNI!
invite you to participate in a unique Family naturist weekend which
will be held for the first time in Serbia! As one of the youngest
member of INF-FNI we try to develop naturist movement even
though our country doesn’t have a sea. We perform the action to
develop and improve the accommodation and the vacations of people who
support the freedom of living and the naturist life style. We want to
show you the traditional Serbian hospitality, to introduce you to
our country and its beauty as well as our naturist organization.
We want to learn from you how to improve our work and, in a joint
gathering, to represent that Serbia has a lot to offer to the naturists
from all over the world. Tourist
Resort "Relax", which is our residence place of this weekend, although
it is not a naturist resort, offered us all their capacities and
capabilities with the goal to make this weekend for You very nice,
special and pleasant and to create a general feeling for all
participants like in a proper naturist center of the highest level. This
resort is located only 50km from Belgrade (our capital) in the
beautiful small town Kovačica, which is world-wide known for many of
extremely talented naïve painters. Thematically, our naturist weekend
will be dedicated to this kind of art. Nearby this resort there is a
village Idvor, the birthplace of Mihajlo Pupin, our world-wide famous
scientist in the field of telecommunications. Also, in Kovačica You
can visit the home and workshop of Mr. Nemček who is a famous
master - builder of handmade violins. For more information please visit: http://www.nos.org.rs/index.php/aktivnosti/24-first-family-naturist-weekend-in-serbia
